Joe's speech on environmental careers was a great way to the end the semester. This is my last semester at Sierra and I am now in the process of making a career decision. I never really thought that you could find "green" in mosts fields of work. I currently am a Loss Prevention Manager, and I encourage my team to recycle and reuse on a daily basis.
I agree with Joe, in the sence that everyone can agree on is that we need to preserve our livable environment, so why not take part in an environmental job.

Zero Waste
I found Gary's lecture on zero waste very interesting and it totally caught my attention. I thought his lecture was very informative and the idea of zero waste is something that all businesses should promote. The idea itself seems pretty simple. If you can reduce your waste, reduce your uses of products, and reduce the amount of money spent on your product, all of that together equals more profit not just for your business but for the environment. More company's need to be educated on zero waste in the business place. Recycle, Reduce and Reuse.
